For Fritz Kalkbrenner’s single “Playing Games”, I developed two mixed reality video pieces that blend live-action footage with expressive 3D animation, crafted to visualize the emotional core of the track.
Each piece centers around abstract, faceless characters interpreting the song’s themes of deception and identity through movement, mood, and surreal composition.
By fusing cinematic 3D with real-world footage, the visuals create an immersive narrative space — amplifying the music’s haunting tone and visualizing its message in a visceral, modern way.
This project demonstrates how mixed reality visuals can extend a musical identity, turning songs into multi-sensory stories that engage both emotionally and aesthetically.
